January 1, 2025: New Name. New Look. Same Slay.

We are so excited to announce that Southwest Center is undergoing a rebrand to better serve our community. We will be providing all the same services, with the same commitment to providing exceptional care, but with a brand that better reflects who we are and what we do.

Our rebrand is entirely for our community; it was born out of our commitment to serving you as best as we can. As such, we hope to involve you in this exciting journey as much as possible! So stay tuned for more details, sneak peaks, and updates to come.

Why are you rebranding?

We heard from our community that the name “Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS” was an obstacle that caused confusion regarding the services we provide and for whom. This rebrand will help us enhance the patient experience, welcome more patients into our clinic to receive the health and wellness services they need, and strengthen our connection with the community.

When will the rebrand take effect?

Starting January 1, 2025, we will have a new name and look. Our healthcare and wellness services will remain the same. You’ll see updates to our website, signs, and overall appearance. Even with these changes, our dedication to excellent service and our mission remains strong.

Will the quality of care change?

Even though our name is changing, the quality and range of services you receive will stay the same, or even improve under our new brand.

Is your mission changing?

Our dedication to your health and our community is unwavering, and our rebrand is part of our effort to better serve you. With a new name and look that will provide greater clarity around our services, we look forward to providing even better care and support for our community. There will be no changes to our services, our values, or the quality you can expect when you visit us - only a clearer understanding of the care we provide.

Is Southwest Center no longer going to be providing HIV care / will there be any changes to your HIV services?

Our HIV care remains a pivotal part of our services, as well as our mission to provide affordable, affirming inclusive care to those living with or affected by HIV/AIDS in our community. You can expect all of the same HIV services we’ve always provided, and the same commitment to a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment - just with a name that better reflects all of our many services.

What will change with the new name?

You’ll notice updates to our website, signage, and overall visual identity to better reflect who we are and the quality you can expect from us. While our name and look are changing, our commitment to providing excellent services and upholding our core mission and values remains strongly the same.

Will the location or contact information change?

No, our clinic’s location and phone number will remain the same. The only change is to the (staffs') email addresses. This change won’t affect your ability to reach us, and your emails will still be directed to the right place.

How will this affect my appointments or records?

Your appointments and medical records will not be affected by the rebranding. All your scheduled appointments remain the same, and your medical records are securely maintained as always. The rebranding is primarily a change in our name and visual identity, so you can expect the same level of care and service.

Can you tell me what the new name is?

We are keeping the new brand name and look under wraps until January 1st, 2025 to make the reveal extra special. While we can’t disclose the new brand name and look until January 1st, we can tell you that the new name better reflects our commitment to our community. In the meantime, feel free to check out our social media, website and or newsletter for updates.

Will this affect my insurance coverage?

Your insurance coverage will not change due to the rebrand and you will still see the same providers and staff you know and trust.

Is the name change a result of a merger or acquisition?

The name change is not related to a merger or acquisition. It was a thoughtful decision made by our board and executive team, using feedback from our community and patients. This ensures the new name matches our shared values and goals.
